Randolph College Landscape Master Plan

Intent: Following 115 years as a top woman's college, Randolph College (formerly Randolph-Macon Woman's College) has begun a transformation that starts with the admission of male students to its campus. The Randolph College Landscape Master Plan works with the Facilities Master Plan to prepare the institution for growth in a manner that will preserve and enhance its historic and intimate character while bolstering its ties to its own history and to the community. Key components of the landscape master plan include improving pedestrian connections and universal access throughout the campus, recommending innovative ways to reduce the impact of proposed improvements, and preserving the balance of natural and built areas of the campus.
